ISACA CDPSE
Vijay M is the Founder and CEO of AnantaQuanta Consulting and an ISACA-credentialed Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE). He founded AnantaQuanta Consulting in Hyderabad to address a specific gap in the Indian advisory market: the absence of specialist consulting that could navigate DPDP Act compliance, GDPR, and AI governance obligations within one integrated programme — for organisations that need genuine expertise, not templated policy documents.
His expertise is grounded in the regulatory frameworks that define the current compliance environment for Indian organisations. On data protection: the DPDP Act 2023, DPDP Rules 2025, and the obligations they impose on Data Fiduciaries and Significant Data Fiduciaries across consent architecture, data principal rights, breach notification, and vendor governance. On cross-border obligations: GDPR Articles 5–35, Standard Contractual Clauses, Transfer Impact Assessments, and DPIA methodology for Indian organisations serving EU clients without an EU adequacy decision in place. On AI governance: ISO/IEC 42001 AI Management System implementation, NIST AI RMF’s four-function governance cycle, and the EU AI Act’s risk classification hierarchy and conformity assessment requirements for high-risk AI systems.
Vijay leads every DPDP compliance, GDPR, and AI governance engagement at AnantaQuanta Consulting directly — from initial gap assessment through final delivery. There is no handoff to junior staff after the scoping call. Every programme is designed to close with governance infrastructure that the client’s own team can operate independently: trained staff, documented procedures, monitoring frameworks, and review cycles built for the long term rather than the first audit. Alongside his advisory practice, he is developing a proprietary compliance technology platform designed to make DPDP Act and AI governance infrastructure accessible to organisations without large internal compliance teams.
His goal for AnantaQuanta Consulting is specific: to build a practice that is synonymous with compliance programmes that hold up when regulators ask questions — not just when auditors tick boxes. Data privacy and AI governance obligations are not abstract regulatory requirements. They have operational consequences that show up in contract negotiations, procurement due diligence, and enforcement proceedings. Building compliance infrastructure that is operationally sound, independently maintainable, and genuinely defensible is the standard every AnantaQuanta Consulting engagement is designed to meet.
